Our comprehensive curriculum is divided into three modules

Module 1

Comprised of 5 sessions and covers diagnosis and treatment planning

  • Extra-Oral examination
  • Intra-Oral examination
  • 3 dimensional Facial analyses 
  • Cephalometry analyses and clinical interpretations
  • Treatment planning for Angle’s class I, class II and class III (Skeletal and dental class I, II and III )
  • Extraction vs. Non-Extraction

Module 2

Will be covered in 4 sessions and fixed appliance therapy will be covered

  • Bracket identification (difference between MBT, Roth and Andrews prescription)
  • Banding procedure with clinical exposure on patient
  • Bonding procedure with clinical exposure on patient
  • Bonding errors and its effects
  • Smile arc and its preservation
  • Instrument identification and its uses

 

Module 3

Theoretical teaching with clinical applications and hands on typodont exercises.

  • Sequence of treatment (Mechanotherapy to prevent round tripping)
  • Interceptive orthodontics (Arch expansion and early intervention)
  • Arch form and wire selection
  • Vertical problems in orthodontics (Deep bite correction, Open bite treatment, non surgical correction of gummy smiles)
  • Space closure and anchorage (Sliding and loop mechanics)
  • Functional appliances and class 2 corrections with removable and fixed functional appliances
  • Retention and relapse
  • Strategies to minimize relapse
  • Techniques to bond fixed retainers
  • Wire bending exercises (First order, second order and third order Bends)
  • CBCT. Interpretation and hands on teaching on software.

Fees For Diploma in Orthodontics (2024)

We have kept the tuition fees for this diploma program at an affordable rate, empowering aspiring general dentists to enhance their orthodontic skills without financial constraints. The total cost of this diploma program is 190,000 PKR, but for early bird enrollees who register by December 31, 2023, a substantial discount of 20,000 PKR applies.

I'm happy that i have made the right choice to learn from Dr Irfan. Dr Irfan's orthodontic course has been comprehensive and enlightening. It is curated to educate the students on the principles of orthodontics, which is the foundation of the course. Subsequently, it builds up the knowledge and techniques of orthodontics from there.
