Non surgical approach: Strategies to treat class II malocclusion

Class II is the most prevailing malocclusion among norms of many ethnicity including pakistani population. But the dilemma is the different underlying causes and severity of jaws involvement. Thence the treatment strategies also differ. This course will not only focus on the diagnosis and planning part but will also cover the approaches to treat complex class II cases non surgically. Furthermore A platform to learn biomechanics of class II correctors and TADs used to correct borderline skeletal class II.

Studies suggest its occurrence in varying percentages, often ranging between 15% to 25% in different populations. However, these numbers can differ based on factors like geographic location, ethnic backgrounds, and age ranges studied.

2. Sliding jig for TADs supported distalization of molar.
3. Forsus installation on typodont.
