Diploma Program From Hongkong Institute of Orthodontics
IIOCO alumni can complete the Diploma in Orthodontics from the Hong Kong Institute in just 2 years, benefiting from a 1-year exemption.
The total fees for the Diploma in Orthodontics from the Hong Kong Institute range from 160,000 to 200,000 HKD, depending on the student’s country of origin. However, IIOCO alumni benefit from a significant discount. For Pakistani students, the standard fee is 100,000 HKD, but IIOCO alumni will pay just 66,000 HKD for the 2-year program, enjoying substantial savings. This reduced cost offers exceptional value, allowing graduates to pursue advanced orthodontic training at a fraction of the typical price.

After completing the Diploma in Orthodontics from the Hong Kong Institute of Orthodontics, an applicant can proceed to apply for the MOrth training program.
MOrth Training Program:
IIOCO alumni who have obtained a Diploma in Orthodontics from the Hong Kong Institute can apply for the MOrth training program, which spans 3 years. The fee is 50,000 HKD per year for the first two years, totaling 100,000 HKD, with no fees required for the final year. This offers an affordable pathway to advanced orthodontic credentials, with exclusive discounted rates for IIOCO alumni compared to other international students.
Standard fee for M.Orth Training is 100,000 HKD for 3 years.
IIOCO alumni applying for the MOrth training program must note that the 100,000 HKD fee does not include the MOrth RCS exam fees. Students will need to pay the MOrth RCS exam fees separately.
This fee is valid for the year 2024 till 2025.

After completing the IIOCO diploma (approximately a 1-year program), candidates are eligible to enroll in the Diploma in Orthodontics at the Hong Kong Orthodontic Institute, which is an additional 2-year program. Upon completing the diploma, candidates can then apply for the Post-Diploma MOrth training program, which lasts for another 3 years. After finishing this pathway, candidates can sit for the MOrth RCS (Edinburgh) exam.
The training from IIOCO is available both online and onsite. The Diploma in Orthodontics from the Hong Kong Institute is primarily online, allowing students to study from Pakistan. However, students are required to visit Shanghai annually for in-person practical sessions.
Yes, international students who have completed their orthodontic course at IIOCO are eligible to enroll in the program, but the fees would be different for an international candidate but they will be eligible to get their diploma from Hong Kong Institute in 2 years instead of 3 years.
